We ship in public
Most pull requests land in a public repository, and most design discussions happen in issues anyone can read. It's slower on the day and much faster over a year.
We're a small team in Astana and remote across Eurasia, writing Rust and Python for people who debug things that move. The core is open source, so most of our work is public.
Not aspirations — descriptions. If any of these sound bad to you, we'd rather you find out now.

Frame budgets are tracked per release. A change that costs 2 ms needs a reason, and "we'll optimize later" is not one of them.
Everyone here has instrumented a real system with the SDK. Bugs get found because they annoyed an engineer on a Tuesday, not because a dashboard flagged them.
Written decisions, few standing meetings, and two on-site weeks a year in Astana that everybody attends. Travel and time are on us.
Remote within UTC+2 to UTC+8, or in the Astana office. We sponsor relocation and work permits for Kazakhstan.
Nothing fits but you're sure you'd be useful? Write to us anyway — about a quarter of the team arrived that way.
Four steps, typically three weeks, and we tell you where you stand after each one. No take-home longer than four hours, and we pay for it.
What you've built, what you want next, what we're actually like.
A real problem from our backlog, discussed. No whiteboard algorithms.
A scoped task in the domain you'd own, on your own schedule.
Meet everyone you'd work with, ask the awkward questions, get an offer within 48 hours.
Options with a ten-year exercise window, so leaving doesn't cost you what you earned.
Six weeks minimum, tracked to make sure people take it.
Any machine, any monitor, plus a GPU workstation if you're on rendering.
Six months full pay, regardless of which parent you are or where you live.
€2,500 a year, no approval needed, conferences included.
Comprehensive in every country we employ in, including dental and mental health.
€1,500 to start plus a co-working stipend if you'd rather not be home.
One day a fortnight on anything open source, including projects that aren't ours.
Applications, sales questions, docs corrections, or a recording that broke the viewer — it all reaches a human.
